DESIGNER: Pink Tartan

Hey ya'll (in my southern accent, lol).  Today is Tuesday and we're pressing along through the week, but I wanted to share with you guys my look from this past Sunday.  This look came at the perfect time because I literally wore black all last week.

The recent shooting, coupled with protesting and rallies had me in a somewhat dark and drained place.  To witness continued injustice with no resolve, does something to you physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  Having said that and having felt that way after the killing of #KeithLamontScott (read about it HERE), I needed an outlet.  I needed to be surrounded by positive energy and like minds, so I decided to bring back 1st Sunday Brunch after a 2 year hiatus.  After church, myself, along with a group of friends, gathered at Imani's Fusion Cafe to enjoy fellowship and food.  The food was absolutely amazing, so much so that I'm booking him to cater my Holiday Dazzle Party (yes, you're invited), and the fellowship was devine.  It was truly a pleasure to be among like-minded people and just enjoy each others company and conversation.

For my look, I decided to get back to my bright and bold self, by wearing this absolutely stunning floral print blouse by Pink Tartan.  At a regular retail price of $395, I was able to score this blouse for substantially less in a designer sale, and paired it with this bright zippered pencil skirt.  Because both the blouse and skirt are so saturated with pink, I opted for a neon orange patent pump and orange leather purse as an accent.  The final look was a perfect fusion of brights!

Hope you guys have an awesome week!  Don't forget to stay connected by following me on social media (follow buttons are located either to the right, or at the bottom of your page).
